December 21, 2010

Audio samples of three new songs from ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET — the Swedish band featuring former THE CROWN vocalist Johan Lindstrand — are available for streaming on the group's MySpace page. "Inside The Head Of God", "Stitch" and "Skeletons Of Rose Hall" come off ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET's fourth full-length album, "The Dark Epic", which will be released in Europe on February 25, 2011. The CD was recorded at Black Lounge studios in Avesta, Sweden with producer Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY, CARNAL FORGE). The cover artwork, which can be viewed below, was created by Björn Goosses of Killustrations.

Commented Johan: "I gotta say [the new album] sounds amazing. All the nine songs seems so connected to each other and with the sound that was created at Black Lounge — it's a brilliant brutal everlasting piece of death metal. This is the the sound I've been looking for so many years and now with this new lineup it was possible. ONE MAN ARMY feels good!!!!!"

Guitarist Jonas Blom made his live debut with ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET at the Metal Invasion festival in Ruhstorf, Germany on September 19, 2009.

Longtime ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET guitarist Mikael Lagerblad quit the band on April 1, 2009.

ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET's third album, "Grim Tales", was released on October 24, 2008 via Massacre Records. The CD was made available as a limited-edition digipack containing a bonus DVD. It was recorded at Black Lounge with Kjellgren.
